Extracurricular activities are an integral part of students’ life at Namirembe Hillside High School. Each term a number of activities are organised by students with help from their teachers/ patrons. These activities are designed to help the student expand their learning experience.

Competitions in the following fields are organised amongst the different clubs, classes, houses and neighboring schools;

• Arts: i.e music, dance and drama, painting, creative writing and other creative endeavors.
• Church activity: i.e. Community outreach, Church-sponsored music and Athletic programs.
• Clubs: Chess club, Wildlife club, Writers club, Interact Club, Debate club,and so on.
• Governance: Student government i.e. School prefects
• Sports: Football, Basketball, Baseball, Athletics, Dance, Table tennis, and so on.
